Be unapologetic.

Be focused.

Take the pit-bull approach (lock your jaws around something until it stops moving).

Release yourself from technology.

Write more, every day.

Consume with discrimination.

Express true feelings, juggle with ideas.

Make organisational scenarios, not emotional ones.

Stop postponing your own art.

Pursue your own justice*.

Regret only your actions, never your hesitations.

Be your own mentor and take action.

Make yourself available for your family and real friends, charge everybody else when they need you.

* Not sure exactly what I meant by this one… It’s not about an eye for an eye, or some vigilante self-justice, but more about choosing something that is unfair, unjust and trying to make it right in order to make your society a better place.

FROM: The car builders, car advertisers and all the lobbyists who whore themselves for cars.
TO: the gullible morons that buy new cars.

You bought this car for the freedom, the power and personality, but you spend mornings and evenings experiencing entrapment, powerlessness and conformity while sitting in it, stuck in traffick…

And the bank will own it until you have slaved enough to pay for it, then becoming the proprietor of an obsolete piece of junk that was used to pollute the same air you breathed all those years sitting in it, looking at another person’s car bumper.

You are a slave! Buy our fake freedom!

Pas nécessairement dans cet ordre… Mais tout de même, je vis de drôles de synchronicités depuis quelques semaines…

1820 – Henry McReady (Écossais) a marié Emily Casey (Irlandaise), ils ont enfanté John.

1843 – John McCready a marié Rose de Lima Forcade (Prussienne), ils ont enfanté Edouard.

1880 – Edouard McCready a marié Marie Gingras (Canadienne), ils ont enfanté Joseph.

1914 – Joseph McCready a marié Yvone Séguin (Canadienne dont l’ancêtre François Seguin dit Ladéroute est arrivé de Picardie, France en 1665 et a marié une Fille du Roy, Jeanne Petit). Ils ont enfanté Bernard.

1957 – Bernard McCready a marié Reina Villeneuve (Canadienne dont l’ancêtre Mathurin Villeneuve est arrivé de France en 1666), ils ont enfanté Denis.

Denis McCready est célibataire et sans enfants, pour le moment.

Le film sera présenté au Cinéma Parallèle dès le 25 juin.

Après une journée passée à la conférence du Projet Columbus de l’INIS sur le Storytelling Transmedia, je suis à la fois perplexe et survolté. Cette première conférence, intitulée adéquatement Expédition 00, a les qualité de ce qu’elle prétend attaquer: défricher de nouveaux territoires même avec des explorateurs chevronnés entraîne toujours un peu d’impro, d’essai et d’erreur, on cherche, on découvre, mais on reste sur le bout de notre chaise la plupart du temps. Le résultat est hyper-stimulant et tellement opportun (pour moi), que la première moitié de la journée valait déjà la peine, la deuxième a servi de mise en perspective.

Ça donne une poussée en avant particulièrement stimulante à mon été qui s’amorce dans l’exploration, l’écriture, le développement de projets, et comme j’ai dit à une amie: “la découverte de choses que je ne feraient pas normalement.” Cette conférence est, j’espère, le début d’une série de conférences vitales. À suivre.

I support the Complaint filed with you and the International Criminal Court, on January 19, 2010, by Francis A Boyle, professor of International Law, from Illinois, USA, against U.S. citizens George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleezza Rice, and Alberto Gonzales (hereinafter referred to as the “Accused”) for their criminal policy and practice of “extraordinary rendition.”

The extraordinary crimes of the Accused are well known. What extraordinary efforts you and the International Criminal Court have undertaken to put the Accused on trial is less known. I respectfully request that you schedule a meeting with Mr Boyle to discuss this Complaint.
